Tips for brewing tea Start by using cold water (preferably purified water) and a quality tea of your choice. Different leaves require different brewing (refer to the chart below). The water in your tea kettle should come to a full boil - do not over boil. Pour your boiling water into your teapot. Our superior ceramic, porcelain and porcelain lined cast iron teapots are the perfect accompaniment to your tea drinking experience. If you are using loose tea, generally use one teaspoonful per person. Let the tea steep approximately 3-5 minutes, shorter for green tea, stronger teas may require 7 or 8 minutes. Serve by placing a strainer between the teapot spout and the teacup. Enjoy this delicious natural drink with all of it's health promoting benefits!
